  1. Factored Tensile Resistance has been increased by 15 % for short-term load duration (wind, earthquake).
  2. Nail holes in the center flange are provided to allow pre-attachment to the rim joist.
  3. Holes spacing (dim. D) is 2 1 /2, 3 and 3 1 /2 for 5 /8, 3 /4 and 7 /8 MB respectively..
